Martin B-26 Marauder

The Martin B-26 Marauder is one of the most controversial bombers of the US Air Force during the Second World War. This twin-engine medium bomber earned the nickname ‘Widow Maker’ due to its high accident rate during training, but in combat it proved to be a reliable and effective aircraft. Our collection includes accurate models from renowned manufacturers such as Franklin Mint, Forces of Valor and Atlas Models in 1:48, 1:72 and 1:144 scales.

The Martin B-26 Marauder models in our range represent key USAAF units operating on the European theatre of war. You will find the famous "Flak Bait" aircraft from the Belgian base in 1945, which became the most frequently shot-down American bomber, as well as the "Hamilton Hey Maker II" from RAF Chipping Ongar. All models feature detailed construction, including authentic colour schemes and markings of specific bomber groups.

Collectors who appreciate American bombers can expand their collection with other interesting aircraft such as the Northrop P-61 Black Widow, or explore German designs including the Henschel HS 126. Each model comes with an original display stand and is a faithful replica of this important wartime aircraft, which played a key role in bombing operations over occupied Europe.
