The Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation was one of the most prestigious passenger aircraft of the 1950s. Our collection includes models of various variants, including civilian versions operated by Qantas, Air India and Trans Canada Airlines, as well as the military C-121J variant of the United States Navy, which served with the Blue Angels.
The models are produced with a high level of detail, with most coming from the specialist manufacturer AeroClassic in 1:400 scale. For collectors who prefer larger dimensions, we also offer selected items from Western Models in 1:200 scale. The design of the Super Constellation was based on earlier versions of the Constellation L-749, whilst later developments led to the creation of the elegant Starliner L-1649.
